This remarkable Swiss chard produces ruffled, light green-blond leaves with ribs up to 10 cm wide. It is heat-resistant and therefore suitable for summer cultivation. The young leaves are used for stir-frying, steaming, or in salads. The leaves can also be prepared like spinach, and the leaf stalks like celery.
Sow in open ground in rows 40 cm apart and thin to 30 cm apart. Harvest from July to November.
