Capsicum annuum, a well-known heirloom pepper from Naples, Italy. Conical, elongated red fruits, about 15 cm long, ripen from green to red. Thick-walled, sweet flesh with a good flavor. Perfect for baking, roasting, or pickling.
Robust shrubby plants of about 50 cm with high yields.
Sow indoors in trays from February/March at 22°C. Prick out the seedlings after four to eight weeks. At the end of April, the plants can be transplanted into a greenhouse or under plastic. After mid-May, you can also plant them outdoors in a sunny, wind-protected spot. Harvest from July to October.
